Although she got little film and television roles, she tried out for WB's Popstars in 2001. Since so, she has starred within other large & easily-known roles.

Manning & her brother Killian formed Boomkat & their debut album Boomkatalog.One was released on March 18th 2003. She sang the rendition of "I'll Take You There" in a Gap commercial, and a Boomkat song was included on the 8 Mile soundtrack.

In September 22 2005 Manning discussed her "out of body" case when one of 140 rider in JetBlue Airways Flight 292. Speaking as a guest in Craig Ferguson's late night chat show, she explained: Upon landing safely, she described a atmosphere of jubilant cheering & hand clapping in a plane. ""It sounded such as Fox Sports stadium inside there."
